CDL Training for Veterans: Earn Your CDL in 3 Weeks

Making the transition from the military to the workforce is a big change, but we’re here to help. The skills you built in the service carry over directly to truck driving, and TDI’s CDL training for veterans is built to make the move from the military to the trucking industry as quick as possible.

Family-owned for 53 years since our founding in 1973, TDI has kept consistent values that our graduates know well: integrity, safety, and thorough instruction.

Why TDI Is Your Preferred Veteran CDL School

Roughly 25% of our student base is made up of veterans, so we’re incredibly experienced helping students make this transition. Moving from the military to trucking is a pathway that you can trust, especially when you see everything that TDI provides to make everything easy:

  • Instructors who’ve been there – Every TDI instructor is a former truck driver, and most are military veterans who made the same transition you’re making now.
  • Real field experience – TDI trains truck drivers using modern freightliners so that you get hands-on, real-world experience. We never use simulators because we know it’s vital for students to master gear shifting, brake inspections, and precision backing maneuvers within a real truck like the ones they’ll use in their careers.
  • 3-week program – Our intensive 15-day curriculum expedites your future, getting you road-ready in just three weeks.
